Faced a decision so I make a stance, and so I'm asking the women "will you take this dance?". And if you step with me you better make it damn quick, and together we'll shape the planets. Shake your hand and nod in agreement. The diagnosis plan is to shock your treatments. Nothing went wrong, they caught you sleeping. A reason to move on if all you got is even. We've been to the edge and back. Changing of the seasons don't remain intact. Rays are over-heating all the glacier caps, it's the claims that we're believing haven't faced the facts. Don't look back, I count the road signs. So I can forget how I found the whole time. Thought you'd ask, wonder if I chose sides. I'm not your type, but considered a close kind. So behind I was sent away. With nowhere to hide or to extend my stay. I though I would be fine on how we spend our date, I won't follow a design and then just separate. With nothing to say, I left a note at your bedside. Said there's no way and I can't follow a step line. Having set the place, I still feel like I got mine. In the end it's okay, I never signed the dotted line. The top side of the glass is half-full. The soft side of my act is bashful. Another part people call an asshole. Take your card and won't stop till I pass go. A battle to help win the war. I can't keep treading so I swim to shore. It ain't like it was it's no good anymore, but without too much fuss I got my foot in the door.

Stories go, I put the book to my eye. Can't believe what I'm told, so I look to the sky. And I've seen what unfolds from the crooked designs. It may be getting old but it shook me inside. x2

Pass it off and I'll continue from here. There's no laughs at all the plot'll bring in the tears. On the path to fall but not into the clear. I got your call an awful ring in my ears. I got my flaws and now I'm sitting in fears. With no act or cause I'll keep drinking my beers. With no map or laws I'll keep spinning my gears. To be exact it's all on how I finish my years. x2
